In March 2005 a silent auction was held at Jonathan Edwards Winery.  This event was to showcase former Wheeler high school art teacher, Ed Tucchio's pen and ink drawing of the North Stonington village that he did in limited quantities for the NSEF.  The signed prints are $50 and make great gifts!  They may be purchased at Central Office of the North Stonington Public Schools or by contacting the NSEF.

North Stonington's Most Notable

As part of North Stonington’s bicentennial celebration and the NSEF Scavenger Hunt, local artist Suzanne Starr created 10 wonderful pen and ink drawings of North Stonington.

Four of these drawings (Lewis farm cows, Marcia Thomspon school house bell, Watermark & Town Hall, the Wheeler Library lion) are now included in a note card set of 8 cards (2 of each design).  These cards are a lovely way to send appreciation, congratulations, invitations, hometown news, or just thinking of you notes to your friends and family.  A set of note cards may be purchased for $10.00 at the Wheeler Library, the North Stonington ExtraMart or by contacting the NSEF.  Quantities are limited.
