Our Mission

The North Stonington Education Foundation (NSEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established in 2004, dedicated to supporting and enhancing public education by enriching the experiences and opportunities of students, teachers, and the town of North Stonington.

Our Vision

To cultivate a community where educators are empowered to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire students and enrich the lives of all who call North Stonington home.

Our Goals

  • Enhance Student Opportunities – Provide funding and resources for innovative programs, activities, and experiences that enrich learning beyond the traditional classroom.

  • Strengthen Community Engagement – Build strong partnerships between schools, families, and community members to foster broad support for public education.

  • Sustain Independent Support – Secure and steward financial resources through fundraising and donations to ensure long-term, independent support for North Stonington’s schools.

Our Board

The NSEF is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors comprised of community members. Independent of the North Stonington Public School System and the Board of Education, NSEF is nonpolitical and focused solely on advancing educational excellence.
