Mr. Bruce Wilkinson, a member of the Wheeler High School Class of 1973, is honored as a Distinguished Alumni in recognition of his global humanitarian impact and lifelong commitment to serving underprivileged communities. He earned his degree in Economics from Gordon College in 1977 and later received his MBA in International Management from the University of Cambridge.

Working alongside his wife, Linda, Mr. Wilkinson has devoted his life to mission-driven work in Africa, focusing on improving the lives of vulnerable populations. His service has included work with the Peace Corps and leadership with World Vision, where he served as Chief of Party for RAPIDS (Reaching HIV/AIDS Affected People with Integrated Development and Support). In this role, he provided strategic direction and oversight for programs supporting more than 350,000 vulnerable children and 30,000 individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

His impact extends through partnerships with international organizations such as World Bicycle Relief, which has helped distribute more than 26,000 bicycles to volunteer caregivers in Zambia—expanding access to care for those in remote and underserved regions.

Mr. Wilkinson’s dedication to humanitarian service and his efforts to improve lives around the world reflect the values and impact celebrated by the Wheeler High School Distinguished Alumni program.
