Wanda Breidinger ’77

Wanda Breidinger graduated from Wheeler High School in 1977. She attended the Mashantucket Pequot Academy from 1994–1999, Three Rivers Community College in 2011, and graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2012.


Mrs. Breidinger runs a successful floral business, Ladybug Designs, based in North Stonington, Connecticut, where she resides today. Wanda’s business has earned two national awards, the first from WeddingWire for the “Couples’ Choice Award” and the second from The Knot for “Best of Weddings.”


In addition to the success of her local business, Wanda is also the driving force behind the Wheeler All-Class Reunion, which began in 2014 and is held every five years. Through her hard work, she has brought together hundreds of Wheeler graduates from around the United States. Wanda also devotes her time to giving back to her community at large and has been actively involved with organizations such as United Way and March of Dimes.


Wanda Breidinger is very deserving of Wheeler High School’s Distinguished Alumni Award. Not only is she a successful businesswoman, she always has the best interests of her town and Wheeler High School at heart in all she does.
